Be sure to bundle up for another cold start to the day. Everyone is below freezing this morning.
Despite the cold start, afternoon highs will begin to improve today compared to the chilly start to the week that we had yesterday. High temperatures will range from the 40s to the 60s with the mildest air in Western Kansas.
Sunshine lasts all day and any cloud cover will be minimal. High pressure is typically associated with lighter winds but there will be a southerly breeze that will reach 20 to 25 mph.
A cold front comes through during the middle of the week. It will not bring us any moisture but it will knock our temperatures back down.
Just before it arrives there will be some warmth Wednesday. We turn chilly again Thursday but it will not take long for temperatures to begin to improve again as we head into the weekend.
The weekend will be milder with highs in the 50s and low 60s. We cool back down into the start of next week while staying dry.
