Sport: Michaela Kovacs (two goals) and Karina Sævik arranged the victory for Vålerenga before Milena Kokosz scored a consolation goal for Åsane. In overtime, Elise Thorsnes made it 4-1.

With their ninth win of the season, the blue shirts remain at the top of the table along with Rosenborg.

Trønder had to watch table jumbo Arna-Bjørnar and Linnea Sælen play their way into the lead on Saturday, but an incredible long-range shot from Synne Brønstad shortly afterwards ensured 1-1.

After the hour played, Sara Hørte also clinched from long range and arranged a 2-1 victory.

Arna-Bjørnar is on his side with eight straight losses. Three rounds ago they were beaten 0-10 by Brann, and with one point so far in the season they are at the bottom of the table.

Brann and Stabæk were the teams closest to the tight duo before the round. However, Brann only had eight games played, while Stabæk already had ten completed games.

Brann was as close as the post just before the break, but instead it was Stabæk who took the lead shortly afterwards. A misunderstanding towards the back of the field led to Melissa Bjånesøy being able to send the ball over Aurora Mikalsen to make it 1-0.

The goal was enough for victory and Stabæk are only one point behind the Bergens in the table. Brann, for his part, must see Vålerenga and RBK run away with an eight-point gap at the top of the table.

In Lillestrøm, LSK Women won the match between two Mediterranean sailors on the table. Emma Reshane scored two and secured a 2-1 victory over Røa. The yellow and black have yet to score points on their own turf.

In Oslo, Kolbotn won 2-0 over Lyn.
