CLEVELAND, Ohio – Euclid native and former World Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic returns to the octagon to fight Jon “Bones” Jones for the Heavyweight Championship on Nov. 16 at UFC 309 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Tickets are available on major third-party sites.
This match was previously scheduled for UFC 295 on Nov. 11, 2023 but was cancelled after Jones suffered a torn pectoral tendon.
Miocic’s last fight was at UFC 260 on March 27, 2021 when he lost his World Heavyweight Championship to Francis Ngannou. Jones’ last bout was when he defeated Ciryl Gane at UFC 285 on Mar. 4, 2023.
Miocic comes in with a mixed martial arts record of 20-4 record while Jones is 27-1, 1 NC.
