WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The organization behind The Wichita River Festival and Autumn and Art is looking for a new leader.
The Board of Directors has announced that Nancy Duling has stepped down as President and CEO of Wichita Festivals Inc., effective immediately. Duling was hired in 2022 to fill the position that hadn’t been filled since Ty Tabing was let go in 2020 due to the pandemic.

As we look to the future, the Board will undergo a thorough search for a permanent CEO and President, aiming to find a visionary leader who will enhance the mission of celebrating Wichita’s vibrant culture. Our 2025 events, including Riverfest, Autumn & Art, and other community-focused festivals, will continue to flourish and bring joy, unity, and excitement to the city.
The Board and staff remain deeply committed to the success of Wichita Festivals and the incredible community we serve. We look forward to building on the strong foundation laid by our predecessors and further strengthening our dedication to delivering extraordinary experiences for all.”
