WOODSTOCK, N.Y. — The Woodstock Film Festival’s annual Academy Awards viewing party returns to the Bearsville Theater on Sunday, March 10.
Doors open at 6 p.m. The Oscars begin at 7 p.m.
Everyone is invited to join the Woodstock Film Festival as it roots for their friends at Neon, Searchlight Pictures, A24, Focus Features, MTV Docs, Netflix, and all the nominees, a news release said.
The show will be screened with the festival’s new state-of-the-art Dolby Atmos sound and projection system, an announcement said. The system was launched last year ahead of the film festival in October.
Guests will be gifted swag from nominated films, including “Poor Things” totes, the announcement said.
A silent auction will feature prizes including, a Hudson Valley Food and Wine Festival package, an overnight stay complete with spa pampering at the Emerson Resort & Spa, a retreat at Autocamp Catskills and more.
Visitors are invited to participate in the event’s Oscar Winning Prediction Ballot with the individual with the highest score claiming half the jackpot.
Each contribution will directly support the festival, which is celebrating its 25th year.
