BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 21 OCT – In order to ease the burden suffered by disaster victims for the well-being of their families, a total of 19 heads of families involved in fire, strong winds, unsafe houses and collapsed houses have received financial assistance at the Aid Delivery Ceremony which took place at the Cultural Image Hall, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (KKBS).
The financial assistance of the government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam through the Department of Community Development (JAPEM), KKBS is one of the efforts of the government’s concern and care for the people and residents who have suffered calamities.
Present to deliver financial aid to disaster victims was the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad.
According to a statement, six family heads out of 19 who received financial assistance today are victims involved in fire incidents, two family heads involved in house collapse incidents, two family heads involved in unsafe house incidents and nine family heads involved in wind incidents. tight
All the victims and residents of the house involved in the disaster are safe and unharmed.
