300 prospective PGGMB umrah pilgrims attended the briefing

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 20 OCT – A total of 300 prospective Umrah pilgrims who are following the Umrah service of PGGMB Travel Service Sdn Bhd attended the Umrah Guidance Briefing today

The briefing which was held for the first time at the Brunei Malay Teachers’ Federation School Hall (PGGMB), Sungai Akar aimed, among other things, to increase knowledge and a deep understanding of umrah worship to the PGGMB umrah pilgrims before leaving for the holy land this October.

Present at the briefing session, PGGMB Chairman, Haji Awang Abdul Alim bin Haji Awang Othman; Deputy Chairman of PGGMB, Haji Badar bin Haji Mohd Ali as well as members of the Supreme Committee of PGGMB, and prospective Umrah pilgrims this year.

The briefing session was enhanced with a special talk delivered by the Counseling Unit Officer at the Ministry of Education, Ustaz Haji Sammali bin Haji Adam, in which he outlined, among other things, how to manage and travel during Umrah in a better and orderly manner.

At the ceremony, the pilgrims also listened to a briefing delivered by the Umrah Package operator company appointed by PGGMB to handle and guide the pilgrims while in the holy land later.

With the briefing, it is hoped that it will bring benefits to all the pilgrims before and after performing Umrah, and the ceremony ends with the recitation of a safe prayer.

The first group of pilgrims will leave on October 24 and will continue with several other groups throughout the month of December.
