BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 19 SEPT – A total of 40 participants consisting of residents of Mukim Bokok attended the opening ceremony for the Information Society Program (PMB) at the Auditorium Hall, Department of Information yesterday,

The two-day program, among other things, aims to increase public awareness of the role and responsibility of the people in developing the country, and to increase understanding of the field of entrepreneurship and the programs offered by government or private agencies.

This matter was shared by the Temburong District Information Branch Head, Dayang Izzah Hazirah binti Haji Adi Othman who went on to add that the program can reveal to the participants so that they can understand the government’s efforts in overcoming the issue of unemployment and encouraging economic growth. In addition to providing inspiration to the participants through study visits to local enterprises in order to inject enthusiasm and inspiration in efforts to improve living standards, knowledge as well as exposure to activities to increase capacity and knowledge.

Among the contents of this program are several briefing sessions and visits to government agencies selected in accordance with the theme this time, namely Entrepreneurship.

The program is organized by the Information Department through the Temburong District Information Branch, District Branch Division towards understanding, supporting and appreciating the government’s efforts in jointly developing the country especially to achieve the Brunei Vision 2035.

Also present at the event was the Acting Senior Information Officer, Dayang Saadiatul Nur Aqilah binti Haji Jaman, and the Chairman of the Council for the Welfare of Persons with Disabilities (MKOKU).
