BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, OCT 23 – A total of 459 kilograms of garbage was collected during the beach cleanliness campaign that was held recently at Pantai Muara.
The campaign organized by the Bandar Seri Begawan Indian Association (BSBIA) was led by BSBIA President, Murugesan and the campaign event started with the presentation of a brief explanation on the importance of cleaning the beach by the campaign chairman, Senthil Raja.
Meanwhile, Vice President Deivendra Parbu said, “The organization of the campaign received permission from the Ministry of Development, and the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation.”
The waste collection proceeds are then disposed of at the landfill site in Kampung Sungai Akar.
