SHIJIAZHUANG, OCT 23 – Six miners were trapped after a coal mine collapsed early this morning in northern China’s Hebei province, according to the mining company.
The collapse occurred at 4:37 a.m. at Qianjiaying, a subsidiary of Kailuan (Group) Limited Liability Corporation, a large state-owned coal mining company in Hebei, according to the group’s statement on its official WeChat account.
Qianjiaying subsidiary is located in Fengnan District, Tangshan city. Rescue teams are racing to save the trapped mine workers. – Xinhua
