On Sept. 13 a McDonald’s customer reported her bike was stolen. She said she locked it to a pole in the parking lot when a man wearing a hoodie lifted the bike over the post and rode away. About an hour later, an alert officer saw a man matching the description of the suspected thief riding the suspected stolen bike on Detroit Road near Lakeview Road. The 39-year-old Broadview Heights man was arrested after he tried to run away.
