GAZA, OCT 13 – The Palestinian Ministry of Health successfully sent 800 units of blood from the central laboratory in Ramallah to a warehouse in southern Gaza, in collaboration with the Rahma Foundation and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
This delivery is part of the second phase of the campaign Our Blood is Onewhich saw blood donations from Palestinians in the north sent to those in the south, the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported citing the ministry’s statement.
The Minister of Health, Majed Abu Ramadan said, “We are working non-stop to meet the urgent health care needs of our people in the southern region, in collaboration with international institutions and health organizations.”
He also called on the international community to increase pressure on Israel to stop the escalating attacks, which are deliberately targeting medical centers in Gaza. – Named
