A woman was hit and killed by a train in Kochel am See in Upper Bavaria. As the police headquarters of Upper Bavaria South announced on Saturday, the accident occurred on Friday afternoon. The Weilheim criminal investigation department has taken over the investigation, but there is no evidence of third-party negligence.
The 82-year-old woman was crossing a pedestrian crossing near Kochel station with her walker when she was hit by an approaching train and fatally injured. An emergency doctor could only confirm the woman’s death. The police assumed that it was a tragic accident. (AFP)
