FDP slips below five percent in poll

According to a recent survey, the FDP is losing support nationwide and would currently no longer represented in the Bundestag.

The party would win in a federal election next Sunday only 4.5 percent of the votesthe “Bild” newspaper reported on Tuesday from the current Insa opinion trend. This is a decrease of one percentage point compared to the previous week.

AfD and BSW with slight gains

The Greens also have to accept losses and fall to 10.5 percent (-1.0). The AfD, on the other hand, is seeing growth with 19 percent (+0.5) and the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance (BSW) with 9.5 percent (+0.5).

The SPD remains unchanged at 15 percent, the Union remains the strongest force with 31.5 percentThe Left Party fell to 2.5 percent (-0.5) and would also miss out on a place in the Bundestag. The other parties together reached 7.5 percent (+1.5).

“If the FDP fails to clear the five percent hurdle, the options for forming a government for the Union are reduced. All that remains is the old grand coalition, which is no longer a grand coalition,” Inas boss Hermann Binkert told the paper.
