Radio presenter Tyzo finally surrendered to the emergency ward of a hospital after two weeks of suffering from gastric pain.
Tyzo or Tuah Zolqarnain, 48, said that after an examination, the doctor confirmed that the pain was not only caused by gastritis but that there was an ulcer in his stomach.
“I’ve actually had gastric pain for a long time, but in these two weeks it hurts so bad that I’m depressed. Before this okay only when I take medicine, only this time I can’t bear to go to the hospital. When I got there, the doctor did an endoscopic procedure and found that I had an ulcer in my stomach,” he said when contacted mStar.
Tyzo, who was detained in the hospital since last Monday, was however allowed to go home the next day.
In the meantime Tyzo explained, he was lucky to go get treatment or face a more serious problem which is leaky gut. Even Tyzo was asked to take a break from work for a few days and consistently take the medication given.
“The doctor said that if I was late, there was a possibility that other things could happen, such as a leaky gut. But thankfully the doctor said it was not bad and he could go back after being monitored overnight in the hospital. Now I am asked to rest and consistently take medicine given for two months,” he explained. – Agency
