At the Eastern Economic Forum held in Vladivostok, Russian President Vladimir Putin once again asserted that they are ready to negotiate with Ukraine on the basis of the agreements reached in Istanbul in 2022.

Earlier, Moscow said that Ukraine’s attack on the Kursk region made negotiations impossible.

According to Putin, he sometimes gets the impression that “Ukraine is ruled by aliens or foreigners who do not care about the country in the face of such enormous losses.”

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky yesterday had announcedthat Kiev plans to indefinitely hold on to Russian territory it seized in a surprise invasion last month in an attempt to force the Russian president to the negotiating table.
