BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sept 6 – Awang Ahmad Rifa’ie bin Mohammad Fauziee from Belait Form Six Center and Dayang Effa Shana Nabilah binti Haji Kipli from Maktab Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah, were each announced as winners in the National Sixth Form Tazkirah Competition For the Year 2024 yesterday.
The event, organized by the Spiritual Activities Division, Department of Co-Curriculum Education, Ministry of Education, took place at the Internal Affairs Hall, Brunei History Center, with the appearance of eight contestants, four men and four women.
Present as the guest of honor to complete the presentation of prizes to the winners was the Acting Director of Co-Curriculum Education, Department of Co-Curriculum Education at the Ministry of Education, Awang Mohammad Norilham bin Haji Jais.
While the runner-up was won by Awang Muhammad Irfan Fahmi bin Armi from Meragan Sixth Form Center and third place, Awang Muhammad Adam Khairuddin bin Abdullah Muhammad Hassanuddin from Tutong Sixth Form Center,
While the winner of the Tholibah (female) category, the runner-up was won by Dayang Adrianna Farisha@Farsha binti Abdul Khalid from Tutong Sixth Form Center and Dayangku Nurul Syafiqah binti Pengiran Haji Idris from Tutong Sixth Form Center got third place.
The competition was held with the aim of increasing the confidence of the students to speak in public to make it easier to deliver presentations and share information effectively. In addition to being able to improve students’ communication skills and be fluent in presenting knowledge or arguments as well as generating a positive competitive attitude among students.
