21 outstanding LCB graduates celebrated

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 6 SEPT – A total of 21 outstanding graduates who received first class honors for the University of Chester and University of Essex programs for 2024 were celebrated by Laksamana College of Business (LCB) in the Incentive Award Presentation Ceremony which took place at Laksamana College of Business, today.

The achievement marks an important milestone where it is the highest number of first class honors recipients in a group since LCB launched its degree program in 2017.

To date, LCB has produced a total of 111 graduates with First Class Honours.

To celebrate the outstanding graduates, LCB held an Incentive Award Ceremony which was attended by special guests such as the British High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam, Her Excellency Alexandra McKenzie; Director of LCB, Haji Suhaimei bin Haji Awang Besar; Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Principal of LCB, Dr Sivarajah Subramaniam; LCB Director of Operations and Academic Studies, Bogusia Mischke; LCB Compliance and Quality Assurance Officer, Gloria A. Antiwiwaa; as well as LCB staff.

At the ceremony, awards were presented to the outstanding graduates celebrated by Haji Suhaimei and witnessed by PYT Alexandra McKenzie. Each first class honors graduate receives a monetary award in recognition of their excellence by the LCB. Such a ceremony was held to reflect LCB’s high appreciation for the hard work, dedication and extraordinary achievements of the celebrated graduates.

Among the outstanding graduates celebrated by Haji Suhaimei and PYT Alexandra McKenzie.

Looking ahead, LCB will introduce a Master’s in Business Management under the University of Essex Program which will be launched in September 2025.
