Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived at Ramstein Air Base in Germany and said he would insist that Western allies take “decisive” decisions to allow Kiev to launch long-range strikes against Russia and bring peace closer.

Following Russia’s intensified strikes on Ukraine in recent weeks, Kiev reiterated its urgent need for greater air defense and long-range strike capability to defend the country.

“We need to have these long-range capabilities not only on the territory of Ukraine, but also on the territory of Russia, so that Russia has the motivation to seek peace,” he said at the meeting of the Ramstein group.

Zelensky is participating in the rally of supporters of Kiev for the first time at the US Ramstein Air Base.
