Oasis back to number one in British charts

The Britpop band Oasis conquered the British charts after their announced comeback. The album “Definitely Maybe” landed at number one in the charts again after 30 years. Album chartsas the Official Charts Company announced. The record had already reached number one when it was released in 1994. To mark the anniversary, the album was re-released with additional material. In Germany, this edition is at number five.

For Oasis, it is the first top spot in the British album charts in 14 years, the chart company explained. The albums “(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?” and “Time Flies” also landed high. “A big thank you to everyone who supported Oasis this week,” the band wrote on the platform X.
