BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, SEPT 6 – To revive the celebration of Maulidur Rasul SAW, the Maulud Dikir Ceremony was held at Istana Nurul Iman, today.
Among those present at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Fiscal), Pengiran Datin Hajah Zety Sufina binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sani; Acting Permanent Secretary (Second Fiscal), Hajah Latifah binti Haji Mahmud and Deputy Permanent Secretary (Trade and Industry), Awang Mohammad Harris bin Brigadier General (B) Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim.
The ceremony began with a congregational Fardu Isyak prayer led by Haji Fansuri Sharimi @ Haji Mansur bin Mohd Ali from the Department of Mosque Affairs.
The ceremony then continued with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Haji Fansuri Sharimi @ Haji Mansur followed by the recitation of the holy verses of the Quran by a representative from the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Al-Quran Tahfiz Institute (ITQSHHB).
While the tazkirah titled The Sunnah of Wearing Perfume delivered by Haji Ahmad Abdussalam bin Haji Abdul Rahman from the Islamic Dakwah Center.
The ceremony was graced with the performance of Dikir Assalamualaika, Dikir Khairuman, Dikir Bisyahrin, Dikir Al-Hamdu, Dikir Badat and Dikir Asyrakal.
Doa Dikir and Doa Peliharakan Sultan were read by the Mosque Affairs Officer, Awang Mohd Amin bin Haji Salim.
