The wonderful summer weather in the north has attracted many people to the beaches of the North Sea and Baltic Sea. In Warnemünde, there was almost no free space left on the beach, as a dpa photographer reported.
“Many people wanted to enjoy the last days of summer and used the weekend for a short vacation or a day trip,” said a beach chair rental company. The promenades and restaurants were also well attended. Long queues formed at the ice cream parlors.
