2 students join the Arabic language course

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, SEPT 8 – Two Arabic school teachers left today for the Sultanate of Oman to attend the Arabic Language Course Program for Teaching Non-Arabic Speaking Teachers for eight weeks at Sultan Qaboos College, Sultanate of Oman from September 8 to October 31 later

Present at the Brunei International Airport to wish the delegation a safe sailing was the Director of Islamic Studies, Ministry of Religious Affairs (KHEU), Awang Haji Shanshol bin Haji Omar.

Also present were the assistant directors and officers from the Department of Islamic Studies, the principal of the Arabic Preparatory School and family members of the teaching staff.

The Arabic Language Course Program, which is partially sponsored by Sultan Qaboos College, Sultanate of Oman, is one of the collaborative efforts between Brunei Darussalam and the Sultanate of Oman in improving Arabic language skills in Arabic schools, as well as empowering the effective use of dialogue methods in teaching in in addition to fostering interactive learning.

The program also focuses on socio-cultural exchange in addition to having the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience by participating in learning sessions and co-curricular activities with teaching staff from the country concerned.
