The city of Potsdam will have to support the Bergmann Clinic with millions of euros for longer than previously planned. On the agenda of the Finance Committee on Wednesday is a resolution that the city must now also support the clinic with up to 15 million euros in 2026, which was not previously planned. In addition, a municipal loan of 20 million euros is planned for 2025 to ensure the hospital’s liquidity. “The loan is to be fully repaid by December 31, 2028 at the latest,” says the proposal from the Health Department in the City Hall.
