BATAVIA, Ill. — Major supermarket chain Aldi is hiring more than 13,000 workers to prepare for the upcoming holiday season, the company announced.
Aldi will also raise its new national average starting wages to $18/hour for store employees and $23/hour for warehouse workers, based on market and position, according to a news release. In addition, Aldi employees who work more than 30 hours per week are offered access to healthcare insurance, paid time off and more.
Those interested in working at Aldi can apply online. Qualified applications will be invited to participate in interviews during the company’s ongoing National Hiring Week from Sept. 9 to 15.

Aldi, which is headquartered in Batavia, Illinois, currently has about 49,000 employees in the U.S. and operates 2,414 store locations across the country, including 167 in Ohio.
