The women’s soccer team from Eintracht Frankfurt have fulfilled their duty and have advanced to the round of 16 of the DFB Cup. The Bundesliga team won their second round match against regional league team 1. FFV Erfurt 10:0 (3:0). The most successful goalscorer was national player Laura Freigang with three goals.

In addition to the Olympic bronze medalist (22nd minute/55th/56th), Remina Chiba (8th), Geraldine Reuteler (28th), Lisanne Gräwe (50th), Nicole Anyomi (59th), Barbara Dunst (85th), Carlotta Wamser (88th) and Pia-Sophie Wolter also scored.

Four goals within nine minutes

A few days after being knocked out of the Champions League qualifiers, the first division team showed a concentrated performance from the start and never allowed the hosts to develop. Chiba’s early goal was a logical consequence. Eintracht made everything clear before the break.

After the restart, the Erfurt team fell apart completely and conceded four goals within nine minutes. After that, the Frankfurt team took it a little easier before striking three more times in the final minutes.
