CLEVELAND, Ohio – A kayaker who was stranded on Lake Erie for 11 hours is alive thanks to the help of a fisherman.
Just before 8 p.m. Tuesday, the U.S. Coast Guard 9th District received a report of a kayaker who had departed from Merwin’s Wharf on the Cuyahoga River near Irishtown Bend but had not returned.
