ORANGE, Ohio – Perhaps it’s fitting that Village Council confirmed the appointments of five police officers – including two new officers and three promotions – on Patriot Day, the anniversary of 9/11.
The National Day of Service and Remembrance honors the police officers, firefighters and other first responders who risked their own lives to save the lives of others during the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
