BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sept 13 – The month of Rabiulawal continues to be enlivened with a dikir ceremony in conjunction with the celebration of the Maulud of the Prophet Muhammad SAW for the year 1446 Hijrah.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Finance and Economy (MOFE) and its departments held a Dikir Syarafil Anam Ceremony at the Universiti Brunei Darussalam Mosque (UBD) yesterday,
At the event, the Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Economy), Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, was present as the guest of honour.
Also present at the ceremony were Acting Permanent Secretary (Fiscal I), Deputy Permanent Secretary (Trade and Industry), heads of departments and divisions, officers and male staff of the ministry and departments within it.
The performance is to rekindle the celebration of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad SAW in addition to remembering the services of Rasulullah SAW in fighting for the teachings of Islam thus injecting a sense of love for His Majesty the Prophet.
The celebration of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad SAW for MOFE was organized by the Department of Treasury, MOFE.
