The Hungarian national football player Roland Sallai is moving from Bundesliga club SC Freiburg to Turkish champions Galatasaray Istanbul. The 27-year-old is coming to Istanbul for a transfer fee of six million euros, Galatasaray announced.

“Roland had often flirted with a change of club in the past. Due to the contractual situation and our current squad structure, we have agreed to a change in the overall assessment,” said Freiburg’s sports director Jochen Saier, according to the SC statement.
Sallai came to the sports club from the Cypriot club Apoel Nicosia in 2018. Since then, the attacker has played more than 160 competitive matches for Freiburg. In the summer, the 27-year-old took part in his second European Championship with Hungary.
