Golf superstar Tiger Woods has undergone another back surgery. The procedure was to treat compressed nerves in the lower part of the spine, Woods told X. “I hope this will relieve the spasms and pain in my back that I have experienced for most of the 2024 season,” Woods said. He wants to prepare to return to activities in his normal life, “including golf.”
Most recently, Woods suffered a sporting debacle in July when he was knocked out of the British Open and then announced his season was over. His return had previously been scheduled for early December.
After numerous surgeries and a serious car accident in February 2021 in which he broke his right leg several times, Woods only competes in a few select tournaments.
