CLEVELAND, Ohio – Fresh from her (Pink) Friday the 13th appearance at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, rapper Nicki Minaj will make a “surprise” appearance at the DTLR shoe store at Tower City, 230 W. Huron Rd., 133 Level 1, between noon and 2 p.m. on Saturday.
In addition to her successful Pink Friday 2 world tour, Minaj also recently released her line of LOCI by Nicki Minaj footwear and, to thank Cleveland area fans who purchase her shoes, Minaj is making a personal appearance. DTLR carries six different styles all named for Minaj songs. The styles are Chun Li, The Pink Print, Red Ruby Da Sleeze, Press Play, Barbie Dangerous and Itty Bitty Piggy.
Each pair of Nicki Minaj x LØCI shoes features a regal stamp on the tongue, a visual nod to Minaj’s reign as “Queen of Rap” and to the LOCI shoe company, which is a U.K. based, black-owned vegan brand that uses a bio leather blend of non-food grade corn and recycled textiles. Minah is an equity owner in LOCI.
