Author and entertainer Biyon Kattilathu was unable to understand some of the reactions of his colleagues on the RTL dance show “Let’s Dance”. “Some of my colleagues on “Let’s Dance” were very fixated. They really wanted to deliver a good performance. They didn’t enjoy the trip at all,” the 40-year-old told the German Press Agency.

But if you don’t enjoy a trip, it’s “as if it never happened.” If you only live from destination to destination, you miss a lot. “It was shocking for me to see that some people came up after a dance and said: ‘Wow, we’ve finally made it!'” said Kattilathu. “I didn’t understand that at all. It was a gift to be able to do that.”

At the beginning of 2024, Kattilathu was a candidate in the show in which celebrities dance with professional dancers. In the end, musician Gabriel Kelly won.

For Kattilathu, the participation still has an impact today. “I am now approached by people who see me primarily as a dancer. Women come up to me and want to talk about tango and cha-cha-cha,” he reported. “Many think that I am now a total dance expert.”

In his shows, podcasts and books, Kattilathu deals with motivational questions and the path to a happy life. A new book of his will be published soon. It is entitled “The Questions of Your Life – How you can find all the answers within yourself”.
