As it does every three years, the Association of German Architects is again calling on its members and the wider public to award a “public award” in addition to the jury’s decision for the BDA Berlin Prize. For the highly elite club, this is certainly an admission: the public today has to be convinced of the quality of construction. Otherwise, they will see modernity as primarily an imposition.
