CLEVELAND, Ohio – No one can say that Jeff Lynne didn’t go out on top. The man who wrote, arranged and/or produced pretty much everything in the Electric Light Orchestra catalog, created a sound that’s as instantly recognizable as the band’s Wurlitzer jukebox flying saucer logo.

The sold-out Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse reaffirmed this notion Saturday night, cheering on the 76-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Officer of the Order of the British Empire as he led his namesake version of ELO through a 100-minute, 20-song set.
