The basketball players from Alba Berlin have concluded the Gloria Cup in Antalya, Turkey, with a win. The basketball Bundesliga team defeated the Turkish first division team Tofas SK Bursa by a clear margin of 89:62 (47:32). The best Berlin scorer was Gabriele Procida with 13 points. Matteo Spagnolo, Yanni Wetzell, Louis Olinde and Trevion Williams each scored eleven points.
Three defeats in five games
Previously, there had been two clear defeats in the preparation tournament against the Euroleague teams Anadolu Efes Istanbul (64:79) and Zalgiris Kaunas from Lithuania (60:80). The test against Tofas was also the dress rehearsal for the competitive game opener next Sunday against Veolia Towers Hamburg. The results of the test matches in the preseason preparation are mixed. Alba suffered three defeats in five games.
