Tommy then landed a deal with Epic Records, under which he released six albums from 1969 to 1971, including hit “Six White Horses,” which peaked at No. 79 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 4 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles. Tommy also reached Top 10 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart in 1970 with hit songs “Rise and Shine” and “One Song Away.”
