BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, SEPT 16 – To commemorate the struggle of the Prophet Muhammad SAW in upholding the teachings of Islam, the Women’s Bureau of the Village Consultative Council (BWMPK) of Sengkurong B, held the Closing Ceremony of the Maulidur Rasul Celebration which took place at Rasa Ceria Cafe, Telanai Avenue, today.
Present at the ceremony was the Chairman of BWMPK Sengkurong B, Hajah Rukiah binti Haji Mohammad Yassin.
The ceremony also aims to appreciate members who have reached the age of 70, for their contribution and involvement in the group’s activities.
The ceremony was graced with dikir and tausyeh performances, while the Dikir Prayer was recited by Haji Rahimah binti Abas, while the recitation of the Examination Prayer was completed by Dayang Lauyah binti Haji Mohammad.
Then the ceremony continued with the completion of the presentation of souvenirs and certificates of appreciation to the members who were celebrated as a mark of respect for their dedication.
The ceremony ended with the recitation of Doa Selamat by Hajah Kahidah binti Haji Salat.
Also present at the ceremony, the deputy chairman, and more than 40 members of the Supreme Committee of the MPK Sengkurong B Women’s Bureau.
