CLEVELAND, Ohio: The Cleveland Clinic has opened its first pediatric primary care and specialty services office in Akron, the health system recently announced.
The new pediatric office is located at Cleveland Clinic Akron General’s Medical Office Building, 676 South Broadway St. Primary care services are available now, and specialty services will start this fall, the Clinic said.
The new office has 18 exam rooms, including rooms for echocardiograms, pulmonary testing, allergy testing observation, and two behavioral health rooms.

“This expansion in downtown Akron reflects our commitment to improving access to high-quality specialized pediatric care in the region,” said Dr. Rita Pappas, interim chief of Cleveland Clinic Children’s. “Families can now receive specialized services closer to home.”
The new location will have 23 physicians and offer a range of pediatric care services, including nutrition, primary care, psychiatry, pulmonology, allergy and cardiology.
Additional services available in Cleveland Clinic Akron General’s Broadway medical office building include comprehensive prenatal and women’s healthcare to ensure seamless health care access for families throughout pregnancy and early childhood.
