CLEVELAND, Ohio — Is it a case of the pot calling the kettle black? Or more like the flame thrower blowtorch calling a lit match red, for the Trump-Harris ticket to blame President Biden and Vice President Harris rhetoric for the two assassination attempts on Trump? Three years after Trump ignited the Jan. 6 insurrection attack on the U.S. Capitol that left 7 people dead and a gallows erected by Trump supporters to hang Vice President Mike Pence and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
After those failed assassination attempts both President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris called former President Trump and condemned political violence. Still, in a campaign ploy, Trump pointed the finger at Biden and “Comrade Kamala” for “highly inflammatory language” triggering the two aspiring assassins.
“Because of this communist left rhetoric, the bullets are flying, and it will only get worse.” Trump told FoxNews
Truth is, it turns out the 20 yr-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, who was shot and killed after shooting at Trump in Butler County, Pennsylvania, was a registered Republican, known to be a conservative. Crooks had also contemplated making an assassination attempt on President Biden.
Ryan Wesley Routh, 59, arrested after pointing an assault rifle in Trump’s direction at his West Palm Beach golf course, had voted for Trump in 2016, then after becoming disillusioned with Trump, supported Nikki Haley and Vivek Ramaswamy in the 2024 Republican primary.
Trump’s running mate, Sen. JD Vance, has also pointed his finger at Biden and Harris when not pointing it at legal Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio.
“The big difference between conservatives and liberals is that… no one has tried to kill Kamala Harris in the last couple of months and two people now have tried to kill Donald Trump in the last couple of months,” Vance said in Georgia.
In Michigan, Vance added:
“I think that it’s time to say to the Democrats, to the media, to everybody that has been attacking this man and trying to censor this man for going on ten years, cut it out or you’ll get somebody killed.”
Trump almost got Vice President Mike Pence killed on Jan. 6. Vance is forgetting or ignoring the fact that the only reason he’s even on the ticket is because Mike Pence declined to endorse Trump after he shrugged off Pence being hung by Trump inflamed rioters storming the U.S. Capitol.
A bipartisan Congressional report found 7 people died as result of the Trump ignited insurrection attack, including several Capitol and D.C. police officers attacked by Trump supporters.
Like Vance, Trump supporter Elon Musk also posted on ‘X’ that “no one is even trying to assassinate Biden/Kamala,” with a thinking face emoj.
After the post was quickly denounced, Musk deleted it, saying it was out of context.
Trump-Vance are scolding Biden, Harris and Walz the same time Trump-Vance continue to slander and endanger Vance’s own constituents and community of Springfield, Ohio, by spreading the debunked lie that Haitian ‘migrants filling open jobs in the town are illegal and eating cats, dogs and geese. The bogus banter spawned multiple bomb threats against Springfield schools and civic events.
President Biden and the Harris-Walz are more than justified to warn of Trump being a legitimate threat to democracy. Trump followed the Jan 6 Insurrection and attempted coup at the U.S. Capitol that left 7 dead by going on the record to say he would be a “Dictator on day one” if reelected, and that the U.S. Constitution needs to be voided. ‘Project 2025′ written by past and projected Trump administration staffers is a 900 page death sentence/obituary for credible United States governance. Get out and vote for it not to be the last time.
