Famous Gen-Z singer endorses Kamala Harris: ‘Vote like your life depends on it’

LOS ANGELES– Grammy-award winner Billie Eilish, along with her brother and collaborator Finneas O’Connell, are backing Vice President Kamala Harris for her White House bid.

“We are voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz because they are fighting to protect our reproductive freedom, our planet and our democracy,” Eilish said in a video posted on social media on Tuesday.

The 22-year-old “Ocean Eyes” singer also supported President Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign and performed at that year’s virtual Democratic National Convention. The performer met with Biden at the White House in 2022.

Last week, Taylor Swift also endorsed the vice president, moments after Harris’ debate with former president Donald Trump ended.

“We can’t let extremists control our lives, our freedoms, and our future. The only way to stop them and the dangerous Project 2025 agenda is to vote and elect Kamala Harris,” O’Connell said in the video online.

Eilish and her brother have allowed the Harris-Walz campaign to use her song “When the Party’s Over” in a nationwide ad supporting reproduction rights.

“Vote like your life depends on it — because it does,” Eilish said on X.
