BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, SEPT 18 – In order to cultivate a deep sense of love for the Prophet Muhammad SAW, the Ministry of Education held a Celebration of the Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW 1446H/2024AD at the Main Hall, New Building of the Ministry of Education, today.
Present as the guest of honor was the Minister of Education, Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd Salleh.
The ceremony was conducted together with the Brunei Institute of Technical Education (IBTE) and the Department of Educator Management with a theme Maintaining Reason Based on the Sunnah of the Prophet SAW.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and a prayer led by the Imam of the Kampung Sungai Besar Mosque, Haji Hanafiah bin Haji Mahmud, followed by a special lecture entitled The Love of the Companions towards the Prophet: Evidence of Emotional Intelligence in Education delivered by Level II Special Duties Officer, Counseling and Religious Understanding Division (KAFA), Sharia Affairs Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Awang Muhd Yussof bin Haji Abdul Majid.
The ceremony ended with the recitation of Dikir Marhaban led by Awang Shaifulbahri bin Haji Ahmad from IBTE Trade Campus.
Also present were the permanent secretaries, vice-chancellors, chancellors, deputy permanent secretaries, department heads and officials of the Ministry of Education.
