Qatar’s former ambassador donates shoes for grassroots players

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, SEPT 18 – Qatar’s former Ambassador and Plenipotentiary to Brunei Darussalam, Saleh Mohammed Al-Nasef, who served from 2012 to 2018, has supported the initiative Donate Your Boots for Roots by making a personal donation at his residence, recently.

Present to receive the donation as a representative of the Youth Center Sunday Night (MMPB), MMPB President, Hajah Noor Monasalieana @ Suzie binti Haji Mohd Salleh.

Saleh Mohammed Al-Nasef also expressed the hope that the donation would benefit grassroots football players and expressed his commitment to continue strengthening the relationship between Brunei and Qatar through future collaboration with MMPB.

As a former Qatari national soccer player, he understands the importance of proper sports equipment and the donation reflects his commitment to community development efforts. This initiative is also in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the United Nations, especially in the areas of health, education, and action against climate change.

Throughout his service in Brunei, he also actively supported various charitable efforts, including organizations such as YASKA and Pusat Ehsan, proving his continued dedication in helping the community in this country.
