A report was issued from the National Weather Service on Thursday at 2:07 a.m. for dense fog until 10 a.m. for Lucas, Wood, Ottawa, Sandusky, Erie, Hancock, Seneca, Huron, Wyandot, Crawford, Richland, Ashland, Wayne, Stark, Mahoning, Marion, Morrow, Holmes and Knox counties.
“Patchy fog will expand through sunrise. Some of the fog will be locally dense, reducing visibilities to one half mile or less. The fog will dissipate by mid morning. Allow extra time for the morning commute. Be prepared for rapidly changing visibilities. Slow down, and use low beam headlights,” according to the weather service.
