Actress Yoo Ah In was able to breathe a sigh of relief when the investigation into her alleged sexual assault against a man was dropped.
A representative of the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul informed that the investigation was stopped after there was no strong evidence for the authorities to bring the case to court. In fact, the police will not reopen the investigation papers of the case in the future.
A report regarding the case was made against Ah In last July by the man who claimed that he was molested by the actor while he was sleeping. The incident allegedly happened in a studio.
Ah In previously denied the allegations and even cooperated well by attending the police station to help with the investigation.
Meanwhile, in a separate case, the popular actor is about to serve a one-year prison sentence for an offense related to drug abuse.
