CLEVELAND, Ohio – When I got home from Thursday night’s performance of Cirque du Soleil’s “Ovo” at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, I laid on my belly and bent my legs behind me and tried to touch my feet to the back of my head. I got as far as grabbing my ankles and enjoying a good muscle stretch.
If you’ve seen “Ovo,” you know that’s a far cry from the spider contorting her body, so her feet easily reach the back of her head. And beyond! She makes it look so easy that my inner child just had to try. And fail terribly!
