UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio — After years of legal discussions and financial wrangling, actual, physical work is about to take place in redeveloping the blighted University Square shopping center.
Mayor Michael Dylan Brennan, in his report given to City Council at its meeting Monday (Sept. 16) said that he had signed documents that morning necessary for the closing of the sale of University Square to KL Holdings — local developers Kowit & Co. Real Estate Group, headed by local residents Brad Kowit and Gregg Levy.
