BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, SEPT 20 – To celebrate the day of greatness of Prophet Muhammad SAW, Fairview School held a Maulidur Rasul Celebration Ceremony at the school, recently.
Present as guests of honor were the Managing Director of Fairview School, Dato Seri Laila Jasa Haji Ahmad bin Dato Paduka Matnor and the Head of Administration of Fairview School, Datin Paduka Hajah Fatimah binti Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Husain.
The purpose of the event is to educate students to recognize and love the Prophet SAW, invite them to always pray and emulate the Prophet’s mahmuda character as a catalyst for the success of the ummah.
The ceremony started with a mass procession which was joined by guests of honour, teachers, kindergarten students 1 to 3 and Year 1 to 6 students.
After finishing the parade, the event continued with a large gathering starting with the recitation of Al-Fatihah and then the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and embellished with the tazkirah titled Get to know Prophet Muhammad SAW which was delivered by Fairview School’s Religious Teacher, Awang Mohd Abdul Aiman bin Abd Wahab.
