The SG Flensburg-Handewitt has also won its third game in the handball Bundesliga. The league leaders won their home game against Frisch Auf Göppingen with 37:32 (15:15). The best scorers were SG left winger Emil Jakobsen and guest playmaker Ludvig Hallbäck with ten goals each.
In front of 6,004 spectators in the Campushalle, the Flensburg team had a hard time with the Göppingen team’s offensive defense. In the 14th minute, the guests were leading 9:5. It took until the 23rd minute before Mads Mensah Larsen, in his 300th Bundesliga game, scored the 11:10 to give the North Germans their first lead.
After the break, the SG became increasingly better at playing at a fast pace. Göppingen could no longer find a way to prevent Flensburg from achieving their deserved success.

The Rhein-Neckar Löwen also have three wins from three games to their name. The Mannheim team defeated MT Melsungen 31:26 (17:14). Man of the match was David Späth. The national goalkeeper saved 15 balls and scored two goals.
