A woman was seriously injured when she jumped out of a second-floor window in the Berlin district of Marzahn-Hellersdorf. The 23-year-old jumped out of the window in the evening because she was afraid of her husband, a police spokesman said. She was taken to hospital with a broken thigh and internal injuries. When the emergency services arrived at the couple’s apartment, the man was reportedly no longer there. Further details of the incident were not initially known. The investigation is ongoing.
